''Mariella is the ultimate instructor. She makes learning, studying and doing the homework an enjoyable process. She is demanding in a positive way. She listens to pronounciations, corrects speech and grammar patterns but in a way that is postive and encouraging. I explained to her about my hearing problem that is in part caused by being new to language learning. I am an older nontradiontal student. From the moment I set foot in her classroom it was all Spanish all the time. I need that and even though I told her my tiny brain hurt at the end of the class, she provided great brain exercises for language acquisition. She loves what she is doing, is interested in her students, what they do, how they use the Spanish, etc. We discussed political issues, poverty, wages, history, art, music. Wow, she is amazing.
