When I've made mistakes that couldn't be remedied in Spanish she would regettably switch to English but once the point is made she switched back to Spanish. I only see Mely for two hours a week, but the lesson continues until the next time I see her. I read Spanish language newspapers and read Spanish language books, which we discuss in class. I listen to Spanish music everyday either from CDs which we share or on the radio. I even try to think in Spanish. That's the effect that Mely has had on me in regard to learning Spanish. Every class is fun and I look forward to sitting and speaking Spanish with Mely. I think that ultimately that is what a teacher is suppose to accomplish - Pride in learning and pride in the expression of what is learned.''
