Consuelo sets challenging but doable tasks for me every week, tailoring the assignments perfectly to match my skill level and my capacity for continued improvement. She corrects my homework thoroughly and helpful, and returns it to me quickly. During our class sessions, she mixes up our exercises well. She strikes a great balance between letting me feel comfortable expressing myself and deftly slipping in grammatical corrections as I go. Her explanations are always clear. Her attention to my progress and her ability to remember the details of my previous sessions are extraordinary. (She also happens to have great advice at her fingertips for every topic I raise in my mini-presentations--everything from how to navigate the streets of Lima to what kind of ice-machine to buy after knee replacement surgery!)
