Juana Rosa, a native Spanish speaker from Peru, is a compassionate and patient educator who brings a gentle and encouraging approach to teaching Spanish. She holds an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from Kingsborough Community College and a Translator and Interpreter certification from the City University of New York - Hunter College in Manhattan.
Since 2008, Juana Rosa has worked as a freelance interpreter, gaining invaluable experience in facilitating communication across languages and cultures. As a Spanish tutor, she has helped college students not only master grammar but also deepen their understanding of Latin American culture, creating a well-rounded and immersive learning experience.
Currently based in Brooklyn, NY, Juana Rosa teaches Spanish to adults, teens, and kids. Her soft-spoken demeanor, kindness, and personalized teaching style make her lessons approachable and enjoyable for learners of all ages, empowering them to gain confidence and fluency in a supportive environment.
