''Tailored the classes to my requests.'' ''She gets students speaking in Spanish in natural conversations.'' ''I think Maria Elena is a very patient and kind tutor. She is smart and is a great teacher. She makes me feel comfortable at all times, and that's very important to me. I think the class time is used effectively and she'll even stay later to finish a particular activity if it runs over.'' ''She was encouraging and helpful and also great with correction and praise when needed. '' ''very encouraging even when some students weren't as well-prepared as they should have been--motivated everyone to do their best'' ''Spoke very clearly and naturally, only used Spanish, was always on time'' ''This is my first experience so can't rank quality compared to other tutors. My Tudor especially encouraging and helped me stretch to learn.'' ''Very good at asking about my particular interests and researching and catering each class to my needs and desires for Spanish learning. She was very good at putting herself in my shoes as I was looking to improve my Spanish for my career.'' ''Directing the class to my level and interests. Creating a warm personal but professional relationship. Being very enthusiastic about Latino language and culture. Getting me to work hard.''
