''My tudors made the classes fun, interesting, and most of all, useful.'' ''Tutor explained grammar in great detail and made sure all students understood before moving on to next topic. Tutor challenged the students in an appropriate way and demanded that Spanish was spoken at all times. '' ''Patient with explaining and practicing difficult concepts. Sets high expectations and standards for the students. '' ''Spanish was spoken the entirety of the class and he encouraged us to tackle/ understand even even difficult topics. '' ''By having high expectations for the students, they were pressured to work harder. '' ''Nico is very attuned to my weaknesses and that of the other student in my class. I think he appropriately focuses on these and doesn't allow us to avoid dealing with the areas of difficulty.'' ''Explanations in spanish - good mix of practical spanish and book learning - very personable - and best of all, a sense of humor that I actually understood in spanish!!!'' ''Nico spent a lot of time having us answer questions about routine aspects of life, politics, our work, etc while making us incorporate the new teaching or grammatical point he was making. I found this very effective for me to remember the lesson.'' ''He was very patient. Especially with the slower students.'' ''Nicolas is great at explaining the rules of spanish and how/when to apply them.''Page 3 of 4
