Yes, you can choose more than one emphasis, provided you are signing up for private classes. Just be aware that the more you expand your reach, the more it may take you to get through the basics of each level.
In the case of small group classes, please note that, even though they will help you become better in all of the skills of the Spanish language, they will focus mainly on improving your general conversational skills. Because the students participating in these Spanish classes will bring different backgrounds and interests, it will not be possible in these classes to focus on any professional emphases or in the preparation for any standardized test.
We can help native Spanish speakers, that is individuals who grew up in a hispanic family in a non hispanic country, get better in many of the different aspects of the language with which they struggle the most, whether it is speaking, writing, grammar, vocabulary acquisition, or any other skill of the language.
Because many of these individuals have had a lot of exposure to the Spanish language while growing up and may have already developed their listening skills significantly, the small group classes that we assemble for non-native Spanish speakers will many times not be the best alternative for them to choose. Instead, we would recommend them signing up for our individual one-on-one classes with us or self-assembling their own private group with other students they know who may share the same exposure and needs. Click here to learn more about these options.
These private classes will allow them to have the personalized attention they need to focus on the specific areas of the language that they struggle with the most.
